Bikini Dome Skine Amande — Generous Round Pouch & Second-Skin Nylon

The Dome gets its name from what the cut does to the front.

A generous, round pouch — formed with a central vertical seam, the Skine nylon cut to give a full, bulging volume rather than lying flat against the body — occupies the center of the piece. The shape comes entirely from the pattern: more depth, more projection, a shape that holds and rounds without padding or internal structure. In Amande, the soft, powdery green of the Skine nylon is close enough to natural tones that the dome is perceived as a shape before being perceived as a garment — the volume asserted, the fabric creating it fading into the body.

The waistband is flat and low on the hip, a clean trim brushing the body without volume. In the back, full coverage in the same Skine Amande — smooth, uninterrupted, the fabric reading like a second skin on the buttocks.

The volume is in the cut. The fabric is in the body. In Amande, the Dome makes the distinction almost meaningless.
