Maulay Savane Black Lace Thong — Structure & Instinct

The Maulay cut asks a different question: what if the waistband was part of the design?

Wide and opaque, the black waistband authoritatively structures the whole—a stark band that cuts sharply against the semi-transparent mesh below. From the front, the Savane black-on-black lace descends in a natural V from the waistband, the zebra-striped waves narrowing towards the pouch, the pattern converging as it always does in this family—but here framed, contained, highlighted by the opaque/transparent contrast.

From the back, the wide waistband gives way to a small triangle of Savane lace followed by a string—the abrupt transition from structure to the essential, the buttock entirely uncovered.
